Follow-up on Postponement of CDSRA AGM

Hello Fellow Members of the CDSRA,

I hope that you and your families are all staying healthy and safe in this difficult and unprecedented time.

In follow up to our previous message that informed you all of the postponement of the AGM due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus, I wanted to bring you an update on the current situation. We had hoped to be able to still hold the AGM on April 16th via video conference and had explored options to do that. The problem was that any voting that might be required or approval of motions would be very cumbersome and this was an issue that was not easily resolvable.

We received a notification from Corporate Registries that due to the current Provincial recommendations of public gatherings, any non-profit organization (like CDSRA) can defer hosting of an AGM without any impact of the organization’s rules and regulations. So we have decided to take this advice and postpone the AGM until we can all meet in person.
