Hanging Up The Whistle

Happy retirement to our Past President Laurie Hastings who after 20+ years officiated his final match on May 28 at CUSA’s Broadview Park Grand Opening. He was accompanied by CDSRA members Sebastian Richters (L) and Michael Mund (R).

Laurie's impact on the referee community in Calgary and in Alberta has been profound and he is looking forward to focusing on his roles on the Alberta Soccer Referee Development Committee (Assessor Chair-South) and on the board of directors on the CDSRA.

Congratulations Laurie on behalf of our membership and our Executive. You’ve enriched our referee community in countless ways and we’re excited to see what the next chapter of your referee career will hold for you.
