14 CDSRA Members Receive Classification Upgrades for 2023

The CDSRA Executive would like to congratulate and recognize 14 of our members who have had their referee classification upgraded for 2023.

While much work remains to be done to improve the female pathway in refereeing, the CDSRA is particularly pleased to see two of its leading female members: Michelle Holmes and Rebecca Paquette, join the pool in 2023 and hopes this can be a springboard to see more women become provincial referees in the coming years. The CDSRA is proud that all three female provincial referees in Alberta are members of our organization with two of these women serving in leadership roles on the CDSRA Executive. Rebecca Paquette serves as the association's President while Harsimrit (Sim) Lakhyan serves as the asociation's secretary.
