CDSRA Members involved at 2026 Futsal Canadian Championship

Congratulations to our local officials who were appointed to the Futsal Canadian Championship this past week April 9-12 in Calgary. 11 officials from Calgary were involved in the tournament, as well as two of our local assessors.

We also had representation for the semi finals. Mustafa Abed was also Ref 3 for the men’s semi final.

Women’s SF1 was officiated by Shaelyn Holdaway (REF1) & Emily Gall (REF2)

Women’s SF2 was officiated by an all Calgary crew of Adam Benani (REF1), Joshua Gall (REF2), Luke Garland (REF3), & Adam Tahir (TK)

Adam Tahir shared his experience. “This was my first national tournament and served as a fantastic opportunity to learn from the many experienced officials and assessors that were involved.” He emphasized that his continued education through the IRT and CARD programs have helped him develop to the point that he was able to get this opportunity, and is grateful for it.
