CDSRA Appoints Governance & Bylaw Advisor
The Calgary District Soccer Referees Association (CDSRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Olufemi Adabale as its new Governance & Bylaw Advisor. Based in Ontario, Olufemi brings extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and organizational development. In his role, he will serve as an external and independent advisor to the board, volunteering his time to help the CDSRA update its bylaws and enhance our governance structure to meet the evolving needs of the association.
Olufemi has a distinguished background in governance consulting and advisory services. He currently serves as an Independent Contractor with JL Governance Advisory, a boutique firm that specializes in board governance, DEI, and ESG strategies. Prior to this, he worked as a Governance and Research Analyst with CADJPro Payroll Solutions, where he supported board and executive functions, conducted research on governance practices, and facilitated strategic planning sessions. His experience as a Governance Managing Consultant at FmAdabale Consulting Ltd further solidifies his expertise in providing CSR, governance, and ESG solutions across various industries.
Olufemi is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (FCG) and holds a Governance Professional of Canada designation (GPC.D), underscoring his commitment to governance excellence. His leadership in policy development, board meetings, and regulatory compliance will be pivotal as the CDSRA works to update its governing structure and ensure alignment with best practices in governance.
